Terms of service

Last updated 1 October 2026. Written in plain language on purpose.

1. What DekhBhal is — and is not

DekhBhal is a platform that helps patients and families book verified home-healthcare professionals and follow clinician-approved care plans at home.

DekhBhal is not a hospital, not an emergency service and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment itself. In an emergency, call 108 or 112 immediately.

2. Clinician approval

Home care should take place within a plan approved by a qualified clinician. Professionals on DekhBhal act within their scope of practice and your doctor’s instructions.

3. Bookings, OTPs and cancellation

A booking is confirmed when a professional accepts it. Care starts and ends only with the OTPs held by the patient or family. Cancellations within the window shown on the booking may attract a fee as displayed at the time of cancellation.

4. Pricing and payments

Prices, platform fees and taxes are displayed before you confirm a booking. Payments are processed through our payment partners. Professionals’ earnings accrue when a care report is submitted.

5. Professionals

Professionals must provide accurate qualifications and keep their registration current. Double booking, misrepresentation or unsafe practice leads to suspension.

6. Reviews and conduct

Reviews must be honest and respectful. We may remove content that is abusive or misleading.

7. Liability

DekhBhal facilitates care but does not control clinical decisions. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the booking in question.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. We will notify you of significant changes in the app or by email.
