Privacy policy

Last updated 1 October 2026. Written in plain language on purpose.

1. What we collect

Account details (name, phone, email), profile details you choose to add (date of birth, address, medical conditions, allergies, medications), booking and payment records, vitals and medication logs recorded by you or your professionals, documents you upload, messages you send within the app, and basic device and usage information.

2. Why we collect it

To match you with suitable professionals, deliver and record care, keep your family and authorised clinicians informed, process payments, keep everyone safe, and improve the service. We do not use your health data for advertising.

3. Who can see your health data

You; the care-circle members you invite, limited to the permissions you set; professionals assigned to your bookings for the duration of care; hospital staff who created your care plan; and DekhBhal support staff only when needed to resolve an issue — every access is logged.

4. Documents and signed links

Medical documents are stored privately. Downloads use signed, expiring links. We never make documents public.

5. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Sensitive data is protected at rest. We use role- and permission-based access control, audit logs, rate limiting and regular security reviews.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep records for as long as your account is active and as required by law for medical and financial records. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us; some records may be retained where the law requires it.

7. Consent

By creating an account you consent to this policy. You can withdraw consent, change care-circle permissions or delete data at any time from your profile or by contacting us.
